FiberCore Europe is a Dutch company, based in Rotterdam. FiberCore Europe’s founders are well-educated in aerospace technology. As a relatively rare phenomenon, they now apply that technology in the civil sector. FiberCore Europe has produced a significant number of InfraCore® Inside bridges in The Netherlands, including the largest carbon-fibre bridge in the world. The latest projects contain InfraCore® bridges that exist entirely of fibre-reinforced composite material, including railings and seatings. New technologies include a state of the art InfraCore® Inside deck to support 60 ton traffic, the most demanding class of traffic these days. The deck guarantees a support of at least 3700 kN/m2. FiberCore Europe engineers were involved in all the government-built brigdes that included fibre-reinforced load-bearing structures. Combining engineering and high-quality productionprocesses, the company is based in the Rotterdam Harbour, on a 100 m long wharf that enables them to manufacture fibre-reinforced composite structures that exceed normal road transportation possibilities. |
