InfraTech big success

The InfraTech 2011 in Ahoy Rotterdam has been a very succesful exhibition.

 

FiberCore Europe presented itself as in previous years on the InfraTech in Ahoy. Four applications for InfraCore®Inside were shown in a brand new stand: bridges, bridgedecks, lock gates, and harbour bridges.

Responses to the applications was overwhelming, never before has the interest composietcontructies so great. People were queuing to be informed about the possibilities of InfraCore Inside ®, and the extent to which this technology fits Sustainable Procurement. This interest also shows that composites are currently a fully equivalent alternative to the existing building materials.

 

The new InfraCore®Inside lock gates had an extremely successful market introduction, in addition to the usual maintenance and sustainability advantages, also the initial cost advantages over wood and steel and the fast delivery times to provided enthusiastic response. The first assignment for lock gates has already become a fact.
