FiberCore Europe is now VCA** (SCC) certified

At FiberCore Europe we believe safe, healthy and sustainable working is important and that is why we have invested in VCA (the Dutch SCC = Safety Certificate for Contractors). With VCA we confirm our careful and safe working method and care for our employees. FiberCore Europe is now a fully VCA** certified company.

This means that FiberCore Europe has anchored in its policy that:

  • Pays attention to SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) by holding instruction meetings and toolbox meetings for employees.
  • Write project plans for projects of a certain size.
  • Coordinates SHE aspects with subcontractors.
  • Have HSE addressed during performance appraisal interviews.

What is VCA?

With more than 1.5 million certified professionals and 15,000 certified companies, VCA presents itself as the standard in safe, healthy and sustainable working in The Netherlands. VCA is the Dutch version for the European standardized safety protocol SCC, which stands for Safety Certificate for Contractors. It is a proven program in which various branches of Dutch industry have combined 25 years of knowledge and experience. The VCA certificate forms the basis for FiberCore Europe to work safely and healthily every day.

The certificate has been granted by DNV-GL and is valid until 17 October 2022. DNV-GL has determined that FiberCore Europe meets the requirements set in the VGM Management system standard VCA** 2017 / 6.0 for the installation, inspection and repair of fiber reinforced polymer constructions in the Netherlands (NACE Rev.2: 42.13).
