FCE & PRIMA Doing business
Because of its pioneering role in the field of sustainable products, FCE has received a nomination for the Prima Ondernemen Award.
The PRIMA Ondernemen Award rewards innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship and this is measured in three ways: in business strategy and management, in products, and among staff and in the organization.
With this nomination, FCE is one of the select group of 9 Dutch companies that will enter the final selection round. Three winners will ultimately be chosen from this group. There were no fewer than 540 applicants for this award.
In its assessment, the jury commented on FCE products: “FiberCore has achieved a lot in three years. Composite seems to be a good choice compared to other materials. Given the traditional character of construction, it shows a lot of guts. ”
The presentation took place on September 29 during the Kunststoffen 2010 trade fair in Veldhoven. NRK chairman Joan Hanegraaf presented the PRIMA Ondernemen nominations to nine companies in the rubber and plastics industry.
The other companies that were nominated are: AKG B.V. in Vroomshoop; Dyka B.V. in Steenwijk; Nedcam B.V. in Apeldoorn; NPSP B.V. in Den Bosch; Schipper Kozijnen B.V. in Opmeer; DPI B.V. in Geldrop; Haval Disposables B.V. te Gemert and Martens B.V. in Oosterhout.
