De Hoge Dijk is a 27-hole golf course near Amsterdam. The course was opened in 1990. De Hoge Dijk chose a FiberCore golf bridge because they are very light (approx. 1,800 kg), strong and virtually maintenance-free. Due to the low weight of the corrugated bridge, for example, the foundation could also be constructed very lightly and thus cost-effectively. But also the installation of the bridge was done in less than half an hour.

By the way, the bridge is designed for a vehicle load of up to 20 tons.

Because this golf bridge has an expected lifespan of more than 100 years, but also because maintenance will be minimal, these long-term costs to the golf club are virtually zero.

Another great advantage of the low weight is that the golf bridge can be moved very easily in the future if desired. Should the golf course ever be redeveloped, it can easily be used elsewhere or, if necessary, resold to another golf club or municipality. A very nice example of circularity and reuse.

But also financially, this wave bridge is a good investment: in 40 years, the golf bridge has a residual life of more than 60 years and therefore its value is also at least 60% of its current new price.
