2nd Symposium Bicycle + Pedestrian Bridges
On November 1, 2016, the Dutch Bridge Foundation will organize the ''2nd Symposium Platform Bicycle + Pedestrian Bridges'' in Amersfoort. During the Symposium, Dr. Ir. Martijn Veltkamp (FCE) together with Mr. William Schutte, Ingenieursbureau Rotterdam, will give a presentation on the world's slimmest composite bridge.
The Bicycle + Pedestrian Bridges Platform, established in 2014, is aimed at clients, policy makers, design and implementation parties. The purpose of the platform is to increase the technical and architectural quality of this type of bridges. Through the Symposium, there is an opportunity for all parties involved to share knowledge about the integral design process.
