Engineering office of manufacturer FiberCore Europe at full strength

The application possibilities of InfraCore® Inside technology are proving greater than expected. Right against the economic tide, FiberCore Europe is therefore developing prosperously. The order book is growing steadily and the future looks promising. To adequately meet the increasing demand for plastic bridges and other structures, investments have been made in expanding the engineering office.

In addition to FiberCore Europe founder ir. Jan Peeters, three experienced specialists in the field of fiber reinforced plastics structures have been recruited.

We would like to introduce "the dream team" to you:

ir. Ronald Grefhorst (34) structural engineer Aerospace Engineering with extensive knowledge of Technical Informatics, Industrial Organization and optimizing production processes.

ir. Kasper Snijder (41) structural engineer Aerospace Engineering with a very broad experience. Among other things, Kasper was the designer and builder of the winning track bike with which Theo Bos became world champion in 2007.

Dr. Ir. Martijn Veltkamp (34) structural engineer in Civil Engineering was until recently structural analyst at Adams Kara Taylor (AKT II) in London. Martijn was recently responsible for the engineering of the Cultural Center in (earthquake area) Azerbaijan that is being built with double-curved composite panels.

The four engineers are assisted by a number of 3D CAD draftsmen.

The engineering company will focus on further expanding the application of flat, heavy-duty, load-bearing structures with InfraCore® Inside. FiberCore Europe now has several development projects underway for new, maintenance-free, environmentally friendly applications with InfraCore® Inside, such as hybrid bridges with steel and concrete, lock gates, floors, ship decks and offshore applications.
