Five bridges with InfraCore® Inside have been commissioned at the Mulitfunctional Center in Wognum.
These are plastic bridges with a span of about 10 meters, two of which are suitable for heavy traffic.
The Municipality of Medemblik and contractor Ooms Avenhorn chose the composite bridges because of their sustainable properties: no maintenance and a long life span. Because the composite bridges are lightweight, the foundations can be made lighter, reducing project costs.
InfraCore® bridges have a very favorable CO2 footprint. As such, the plastic bridges fit perfectly into the ambitious CO2 targets of the Municipality of Medemblik. With this project, the Municipality of Medemblik is taking a big step in the field of Sustainable Purchasing.
